The Enochian "system is a series of calls and tables received by Dr John Dee and Edward Kelley during the Elizabethan period in England. Dee was a scholar and was noted for his support for the accesion of Elizabeth I. Kelley was a medium.
The general method of working employed was that Dee would give the orations and Incantations and Kelley would report
what he could see in the shewstone (Crystal).
Using methods which are perhaps unclear they contacted an Angel called ANNAEL who appears to have lead (if indirectly)
to the system of the "Good Angels" or Heptartica.
From this we obtain the most commonly published system Clavis Angelicae.
This system forms the basis of most modern systems whether Golden Dawn, Schueler or Crowley/OTO.
The final book "The Book of Enoch" sometimes called Liber Logaeth is the least complete ...
It consists of a repeat of the 49 calls first presented in the Heptartica and additional tables .
In my opinion Logaeth appears to be a working notebook rather than a finished work.
It is this book upon which the Colin Wilson "Necronomicon" is based .
The Claim being that the contents of the Necronomicon are encrypted within some of the pages of Liber logaeth. A cursory comparison between the two suggests this is unlikely and as Wilson doesn't list his methodology in full we will probably never know.
